Arthur O. Roberts

Arthur O. Roberts Arthur O. Roberts (1923-2016) began teaching at George Fox University, Newberg, Oregon, in 1953 following completion of a Ph.D. in church history at Boston University. He was a recorded Friends minister whose service included pastoral, academic, and political leadership. Quaker historian, philosopher, lecturer, lyricist, and poet, he wrote many books, including Drawn by the Light (autobiographical) and its new postscript The Bonus Years, Sunrise and Shadow, Look Closely at the Child, Exploring Heaven, Prayers at Twilight, and The Sacred Ordinary.
