Mark McMinn received his Ph.D from Vanderbilt University, after which he took his first academic position at George Fox University. In 1993, Mark and his family moved to the midwest where he helped start the PsyD program at Wheaton College, where he later assumed endowed chair position in the integration of psychology and Christianity. In 2006, he and Lisa returned to Oregon, where they began to develop a small farm called Fern Creek. He now serves as Professor and Director of Faith Integration in the Graduate Department of Clinical Psychology.

Mark’s career has been marked with milestones, including being a licensed psychologist in Oregon, board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology, Fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA), and a past president of the APA’s Psychology of Religion division.

These days, Mark and Lisa spend much of their time tending their chickens, bees, and vegetables at their CSA farm, Fern Creek. They have three daughters and three grandchildren. Mark and Lisa attend Newberg Friends Church.
